- description: Fidschi ist ein tropischer Insel-Staat im Pazifik. In der Sprache der Ureinwohner wird er „Viti“ genannt. Das Land besteht aus ungefähr 300 Inseln. Die meisten davon sind aus Vulkanen entstanden, die flacheren sind Korallenriffe. Die Schweiz ist gut doppelt so groß wie Fidschi und hat etwa achtmal so viele Einwohner. Die Hauptstadt des Landes heißt Suva und liegt auf der Hauptinsel Viti Levu.
